SEATITE Hatches are certified IBV by Bureau Veritas as Watertight.

 

The hatch cover is made of marine grade aluminium and has a stainless-steel central locking bolt and galvanised steel strongback.

 

The deck rings can be supplied as fabricated steel or aluminium rings for direct welding into the deck. Alternatively, they can be supplied as cast aluminium 'Z' frames to enable the hatch to be fitted into a wooden or composite deck structure.

 

These hatches are simple to operate and are suitable for use as access-only or access/escape hatches in decks or bulkheads. With only one central locking bolt, they can be operated quickly and sealed efficiently, as there are no parts to wear or seize up.
